FOUNDER
Laura Metz Duncan is passionate about helping clients successfully navigate the rapidly expanding areas of product and environmental regulation. Not only is Laura on point when clients experience a crisis, she takes the time to educate her clients on emerging requirements so they can avoid business disruptions and product-related risks. Laura’s clients give her high marks for her timely responsiveness and practical advice, dedication to learning their particular business, and her commitment to overall cost-effectiveness.

A significant portion of Laura’s practice focuses on:

  • Advocating for clients in audits, investigations, and product-related enforcement actions;
  • Developing tools to help clients achieve consistent product compliance across jurisdictions;
  • Product-Related Due Diligence to support Corporate Transactions;
  • Preparing strategy and drafting comments on proposed rules and legislation on behalf of clients; and,
  • Providing advice regarding consumer product labeling, packaging, and warnings.

Prior to founding Product Law Group, Laura was a shareholder in the San Francisco office of Beveridge & Diamond, P.C., where she was the leader of the firm’s Global Product Stewardship and Chemicals practice group. She was also a partner for two years at a Seattle-based boutique environmental law firm.
